We did it! We have almost made it to the end of an ENG105 semester (and for many of you, your first semester at college!). Excellent job and impressive work–I know that these last papers were especially challenging for some of you, but your first drafts look great. I encourage you all to do some careful revisions this week–make those final drafts really shine!

Due date for final draft of paper #3: Unless I have discussed (with you individually) an alternate due date, then these papers are due by 4pm on Friday, December 8th. Because this is not a class day, you should turn your papers into my mailbox in Marcelle Hall. I’ll also be in my office for part of the day on Friday from around 1 to 4), so feel free to check upstairs and drop your paper off there, if I am in. **Please be sure to CAREFULLY follow all of the guidelines/requirements for formatting papers.**

Exam Period/Presentations (or Readings–more accurately): As we’ve discussed in class, you will choose one of your revised papers (any from the semester) to share with the class in an oral reading. You must time yourself and rehearse ahead of time. The reading must be done in under five minutes. If you have a lengthier paper, then work to edit it to fit the five minute reading requirement. (Evaluation criteria–see below).

M/W section 31 (2:40): exam period is Tuesday, December 12th 10:45 – 1:15

T/Th section 35 (9:25): exam period is Wednesday, December 13th 10:45 – 1:15

T/Th section 36 (11:15): exam period is Wednesday, December 13th 1:30 – 4
