Unique Publishing Opportunity

You’ve all worked very hard this semester, and now you have the opportunity to showcase the writing you’ve produced.  For the first time, the English department at St. Rose will be working in conjunction with Prentice Hall to publish an edited collection of our best first-year writing.  The book will then be available for the fall semester in the book store bundled with the grammar handbook, so that future “generations” of ENG105ers can have access to models of essays written by you–their peers.  Please consider submitting your favorite piece from this semester.  Bring an extra copy of the essay of your choice to the final exam period next week.  At that point I will have a “reproduction rights release” for you to sign, giving Prentice Hall permission to publish your material.  Please note that submission does not guarantee publication–essays will be selected by a committee next semester.
